Type 2 R 3 ply disposable face masks

Fluid resistant, helping to prevent infected droplets passing through the mask

Surgical masks are intended to be worn by health professionals to shield during nursing and surgical procedures. The disposable masks work by creating a barrier between the respiratory system (mouth and nose) of the wearer, and the immediate environment.

Type IIR medical face masks are also splash resistant and are used in clinical settings to protect the wearer against fluid contamination and viruses

The Type IIR masks have ASTM certification and are suitable to sell to the NHS and recommended by World Health Organisation to sell into healthcare with the R specifying they are fluid resistant to offer increased protection compared to a standard mask as they block potentially-infected droplets from entering the respiratory system.
