Yes, this is really a safety shoe. The upper is metal free and made of SAFETY KNIT®, a highly flexible and durable textile fabric which adapts perfectly to the foot and fits like a sock. TPU-protection elements in the area of the front cap and the heel provide abrasion protection, especially during kneeling work. More running shoe technology can be found in the sole. The combination of ultra light intermediate sole and the 300°C heat-resisting, slip-resisting rubber outsole is inspired by the newest running shoe technology. Directly in the heal area, the IQ.CELL is integrated, a gel pad which works like a little trampoline. It absorbs impacts and shocks when the heel strikes the ground. The middle integrated Torsion Control System supports the natural movement of the foot and provides more stability and reduces fatigue. The light evercushion® MISS footbed with waffle structure keeps the interior of the footbed comfortable cool and dry. The flexible FAP®-anti perforation protection made from ceramics-coated fibres protects the feet from penetrating objects.
