Cut Level E marked safety gloves offer high levels of cut resistance, tested to European standard EN388:2016. Cut E gloves are tested to withstand a straight edge blade exerting 22 Newtons of force or 2243g, the blade is changed on each pass of 20mm, the glove material must withstand 5 passes of the blade to score E.
