Rinse gloves in clean water after each shift to remove chemical residues. Hang them upside down to drain – never leave them bunched up wet, which accelerates material degradation and promotes bacterial growth. Inspect regularly for pinhole leaks, surface cracking, or reduced flexibility. Replace when you notice water seepage – the barrier that keeps boiling water out is the same barrier that slows heat transmission. Compromised waterproofing means compromised thermal protection.
