Polyco Bakers Mitt Heat Resistant 250°C Ambidextrous Oven Mitt

Description

Built for bakeries where hot trays and steam are part of every shift

The Polyco Bakers Mitt (Item 7724) handles the heat, moisture, and sharp edges that come with commercial food preparation. This isn't your standard oven mitt – it's a properly engineered piece of kit with Level 2 Contact Heat protection up to 250°C, an integral PVC barrier against liquids and steam, and Level C cut resistance for handling sharp baking equipment. Ambidextrous design means you can flip it between hands, doubling its working life.

Key Features:
  • 250°C Contact Heat Protection: Level 2 rating according to EN 407 handles hot trays, pans, and baking equipment straight from the oven without hesitation.
  • Integral PVC Barrier: Sandwiched between the layers, this barrier blocks liquids and steam penetration – keeps your hands dry when handling steaming equipment or working near moisture.
  • Level C Cut Resistance: The heavyweight terry cotton shell protects against sharp edges and cutting hazards common in busy kitchens and food processing areas (EN 388).
  • Ambidextrous Design: Wear it on either hand. Distributes wear evenly across both sides, effectively doubling the mitt's useful life – practical for left and right-handed workers.
  • Multi-Layer Construction: Outer heavyweight terry cotton for abrasion resistance (Level 2 per EN 388), middle PVC barrier for liquid protection, and soft terry cloth lining for all-day comfort.
  • Natural Grip Surface: Uncoated design provides tactile feedback when handling kitchen implements – you feel what you're holding without compromising protection.
  • White Food-Safe Design: Maintains a clean, professional appearance suitable for food handling environments where hygiene standards matter.

Polyco Healthline's Bakers Mitt delivers comprehensive protection without sacrificing dexterity or comfort. Tested to EN 407 and EN 388 standards, it's designed specifically for demanding food manufacturing and preparation environments. Order yours from Glovesnstuff today.
