That's the difference between positioning a component safely and third-degree burns.

What Level 4 Actually Means

EN 407 Level 4 isn't marketing speak. It's a standardised test: glove material pressed against a heated metal cylinder at 500°C, timed until internal temperature rises 10°C. Level 4 requires 15+ seconds. Level 3 gloves (rated to 350°C) manage only 11-14 seconds. That gap matters when you're holding hot metal repeatedly throughout a shift.
