Was dubious about buying, a bag, of the beeswift mp1 gloves, as I was actually looking for an alternate brand, I've had gloves before that were all bundled together, where the rubber was too hard and the material like an old rope, the company sent them out really fast delivery, individually wrapped, premium gloves, really happy, top drawer, as these will be stored in the garage, no damp or spider issues, big thanks to George @ gloves & stuff.

Multi-Hazard Protection for High-Risk Environments
The Portwest FR609 Bizflame Work jacket delivers serious protection for workers facing multiple hazards. Built for offshore oil and gas operations, welding workshops, and chemical handling environments, this CE-CAT III certified jacket combines flame resistance, chemical protection, and anti-static properties in one robust garment. It's designed for the toughest industrial conditions where compromise isn't an option.
Key Features:
-
Multi-Standard Protection: Fully certified to EN13034 Type 6 for chemical splash protection, plus EN ISO 11612 for heat and flame resistance. This jacket handles radiant heat, convective heat, and molten metal splash whilst protecting against light chemical exposure.
-
Bizflame Work Chem Fabric: Superior 280g material consisting of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre with a specialised chemical finish. This combination delivers exceptional durability whilst maintaining breathability for all-day comfort in demanding conditions.
-
100% Metal-Free Construction: Complete stud and zip front closure system without any magnetic materials, nickel, or ferrous components. Essential for ATEX environments and anywhere metal detection equipment is used.
-
Triple-Stitched Durability: Every seam features triple stitching for extreme strength. This jacket stands up to the rigours of offshore platforms, fabrication shops, and heavy industrial work without falling apart.
-
Anti-Static Protection: Certified to EN 1149-5 for electrostatic discharge prevention. Safely work in explosive atmospheres and flammable environments where static buildup could cause ignition.
-
High-Visibility Reflective Tape: Flame resistant reflective tape sewn onto the jacket maintains visibility in low-light conditions whilst preserving the garment's protective properties. Certified to EN 17353 Type B2 for medium-risk environments.
-
Welding Class 2 Certified: EN ISO 11611 Class 2 approval means this jacket handles high-risk welding tasks with elevated spatter levels. Arc flash protection rated to IEC 61482-2 with ELIM 12 CAL/CM² and ATPV 14 CAL/CM².
Portwest's Bizflame Work range represents decades of experience in offshore and welding protection combined with advanced fabric technology. The FR609 jacket is available in grey across sizes S to XXXL. Order now from Glovesnstuff for reliable multi-hazard protection.
